What is the Planetshakers International Internship?

The Planetshakers Internship is an intensive discipleship-based program, as well as being both theoretical and practical.  It is a 6 month time of service where you will be empowered, enriched and propelled into your God-given destiny.

 

The Internship Program will provide:

• An opportunity to be coached and taught about ministry in a theoretical,
practical and hands-on way.
• Weekly teaching on all aspects of the ministry, and
• An opportunity to be mentored and pastorally cared for.

 

Areas of ministry covered in the internship will include:

• Youth Ministry • Praise and Worship • Production • Platform (preaching, worship leading) • Evangelism • Missions

• Finance • Children’s Ministry • High School Ministry • Servant Leadership • Prayer • Bible study and application

KEY OBJECTIVES
By the end of the internship, the student will have:
1. Experience and training to take back to their home church and country
2. Progressed in his or her personal walk with God.
3. Developed a deeper understanding of ministry through first-hand experience
4. Gained appreciation of the ministry and their likely area of interest or involvement.
5. Learnt to work in a team environment
6. Developed self discipline in both professional and personal areas
7. Gained a greater sense of destiny for there own life.
8. Reinforced their knowledge of biblical principals by integration of these with practical learning experience.

 

INTERNSHIP COST
AUD $1500 (Extra cost will also involve Health Insurance)

Accommodation and Employment
Internationals must be able to supply evidence that they can support themselves financially. Planetshakers estimates between AUD $8000 -$10000 would be required for the duration of the six months. This value is inclusive of the Internship Fees.

APPLICATION CRITERIA
Planetshakers International Internship Applicants must:

1. Commit to the full duration of Planetshakers International Internship

2. Attend Planetshakers City Church Melbourne for the duration of the Planetshakers Internship

3. Have turned 18 before commencing and be no older that 30 years of age at completion of the Planetshakers Internship

4. Understand and acknowledge that Planetshakers International Interns would not be employed by Planetshakers nor does Planetshakers provide any form of employment, travel expenses, insurance or any other costs relating to the internship or living expenses.  This is at the expense of the applicant. 

5. Apply and comply with all necessary Immigration and Visa requirements.
