Criteria
Each applicant must meet the following requirements:
1. Commit to the full duration of PIP(Planetshakers Internship Placement)
2. Attend Planetshakers City Church Melbourne for the duration of the PIP
3. Have turned 18 by the commencement of PIP
4. International Students must be eligible for and abide by the Special Programs Visa (416) to live and support themselves whilst living in Australia for 6 the month duration.

Internship Duration
The internship shall run with the following options:

Option One
Internship
Internship, 12 months Intake options – Starting February or July for a 12 month period

Option Two
Internship + CERT IV in Church Ministry
Starting February or July for a 12 month period Certificate IV in Church Ministry is Austudy approved and provided by Southern Cross College.


Option Three
International Student Internship
Internship for International Students Only, 6 Months Intake options - Starting February or July for a 6 month period More here>>

Option Four
Internship + School of Creative Arts
Internship + School of Creative Arts (Completion of an accredited certificate in your area of music or dance) Starting February or July for a 12 month period, also available to International Students for a 6 month period.

Internship Fees
There is a $20 fee for each application. This is to be received with completed application forms. Payment can be made by cheque (payable to Planetshakers) or by credit card details at end of application form.

Option One
$2000 (This covers expenses directly related to the Internship).

Option Two
$3500 (This covers expenses related to the Internship and Certificate IV)

Option Three
$1500 (Extra cost will also involve Health Insurance)

Option Four
$3800 (This covers expenses related to the Internship and the School of Creative Arts)

The Planetshakers Internship Program timetable will be:
Wednesday - All Day ~ 9.00am - 5.30pm *(Cert IV students) Starting at 8.00am
Sunday - All Day
And one other full day per week dependant upon chosen stream *International students will dedicate two extra days per week And any other time that is required (e.g. Camps, extra events etc.) *Please note that these times are subject to change.

Accommodation and Employment
It is the intern’s responsibility to find accommodation and work at the expense of the intern. Three free working days are available for part-time employment, so the intern can fund their living expenses such as board, rent, food, etc. Employment is an Internship requirement for Australian residents that wish to apply. Where possible Planetshakers is happy to assist those who are seeking accommodation and employment.
* Internationals must be able to supply evidence that they can support themselves financially. Planetshakers estimates between AUD $8000 -$10000 would be required for the duration of the six months. This value is inclusive of the Internship Fees.
